Contacting Dr. Lissa Rankin

Please keep in mind that Owning Pink founder Dr. Lissa Rankin receives more emails than she can possibly respond to personally, but she reads every single one and greatly values you and your feedback.

We regret that medical licensing, liability, and time constraints prevent Dr. Rankin from answering your medical questions online. Frankly, you deserve more than an internet doctor.

Referrals and appointments

Dr. Rankin does not know of other doctors who practice medicine the way she does - but hopes they're out there! If you know of someone, please contact us so that we might refer patients in your area to her or him. In the meantime, you can make an appointment to see Lissa at the Owning Pink Center - as long as she sees you once in person, she can continue your care via phone or Skype. Most of the work Lissa does can be done remotely and  in coordination with your own doctor. Patients come from far as far as Greece, Texas and Alaska. Plan a vacation to the bay area and put an appointment with Lissa on the agenda!

If you are seeking medical information, there are a few things you can do on our site:

• Visit Lissa’s What’s Up Down There? Blog, which features articles Lissa has written in response to many of your questions.
• Join the What's Up Down There? group on the Pink Posse forum, where you may post medical questions and Lissa will choose among them to answer on the What's Up Down There? Blog.
• Invite Lissa to speak at your college, community center, or organization's event on the What's Up Down There? Book Tour.
• Ask Lissa to speak about health issues at your conference, retreat center, or other gathering.
• Make an appointment to see Lissa or another Owning Pink provider at the Owning Pink Center in Mill Valley, California.
• Request an interview, endorsement, or speaking engagement with Lissa Rankin.
• Submit a question for her to consider for her blog or future books.
