We always love hearing stories from the Pink community. Tell us how you Own Pink or got your Mojo back. Write about your practices, your beliefs, your musings, your journey. We welcome your truth.

In order to have your submission considered for posting on Owning Pink, please do your best to adhere to the following guidelines.

1. First, join the Pink Posse and create a profile so that Pinkies who read your brilliance on Owning Pink can find out more about you. You are always free to post your story on the Posse Page’s blog. In fact, many guest Pinkies who have made it on to the “main stage” have been regular bloggers on the Posse blog.
2. Please keep submissions to around the 1,000-word mark (this is a very loose guideline – goodness knows we don’t always follow it ourselves!)
3. When you submit, please include a photo of yourself or something else that represents what your article is all about.
4. Please let us know which category your piece would be most well-suited for (Owning Health, Owning Spirituality, Owning Sexuality, Owning Creativity, Owning Success, Owning Relationships, Owning the Planet, Owning You)
5. Keep in mind that the voice of Owning Pink is one that is open-minded and fosters the energy of love within the Pink community. Writers and members of the Owning Pink team think of ourselves as “un-gurus:” people just like you who experience challenges and difficulties, and who are learning as they go. This is what makes Owning Pink a safe space for all to tell their truth. We don’t offer advice; rather, we share our stories in the interest of inspiring and prompting dialogue in the community. Please keep this in mind when writing your piece.
6. Please end your article with prompts to get the community involved. (For example, you might ask "What do you think? Tell me how this resonates with you? Does this bum you out? Jazz you up?" You catch our drift.
7. While original content is always preferred, you may submit a piece that you have already written for another blog or website. Just let us know where else it’s been published and include any copyright language you wish for us to use.
8. Pink Posts are not opportunities for shameless self-promotion. Owning Pink is about the stories, wisdom, and experiences of Pinkies, and is not a platform upon which to advertise your business. If you have a business or website you wish to share with the Pink community, we will happily link to you in the body of your article or you can request that we add it to our Link Love page.
