James Twyman writes, "You may feel the urge to return to the illusion of safety and security that separation offered as this reconciliation begins to manifest in the outer conditions of your life. You are in the transition phase, suspended between two trapezes. Slowly breathe in and breathe out, and say, 'I release the lesser to receive the greater.'"

It came through me like a powerful wind. I looked down at my hands and noticed I was no longer in complete control. Certainly I was allowing it to happen. But the words were writing themselves. Whatever was coming out was now flowing through me, not from me. I felt that if I paused, this wave of inspiration would be gone forever. I raced to keep up with it.

Today, we say goodbye to Owning Pink as we know it. Just over a year ago, I launched Owning Pink as my blog, where I would chronicle my journey of getting my mojo back. But we have outgrown the blog format I have come to know as home for the past year. Tomorrow, we launch the new site, and Owning Pink will be making some major shifts. I’ve had mixed feelings about this.

My students and clients want a plan. "What would you love to do in this moment?" I ask them. I know what some want to do in that moment. They want to find a career coach with a plan.

Dear Pinkies, please welcome back my Pink Mommy Trish Rankin here with a cool idea for putting a bit of balance back into our lives.
Today I'm taking a "pieces day:" a day to do everything I haven’t had time to do, to pick up the pieces that I’ve left around because I am overscheduled. But aren’t we all? When we leave unfinished work, we tend to add guilt to our long list of tasks and issues. None of us needs guilt. Plus, when have things left on our plate at the end of the day, it can be hard to sleep, which further drains us of mojo.

Pinkies, please welcome back the magnetic and magical Danielle LaPorte, author of the blog White Hot Truth and creator of the Fire Starter Sessions.
I used to think I was weak n' needy for wanting my "big break." I dreamed of being discovered. I toyed with the willingness to enter some Svengali deal where an agent dude or silver foxy dada would see my raw talent and shape me into a formidable star--a fresh new voice on the scene. I longed for Someone Really Important to give me a Yes that would change my life.
Read More...Three months ago, I decided my dream life would be to travel the United States, seeing new places, people, and things and taking in all the different lifestyles along the way. Seeing as how I work for Owning Pink (from my computer) and have relationships with men and women all over the country (or world, for that matter,) through the Online Pink Community, I had the resources and means to do just that. On February 16, 2010 I took off on The Magical Eyes Tour leaving Dallas, Texas and heading toward Northern California- mapping it out as I went; living my dream life.

Yesterday, I posted a fairy tale about the Law of Attraction and making your dreams come true. It’s an imperfect fairy tale, and one whose ending is uncertain, but I wanted to point out what I think is a flaw in Law of Attraction philosophies like The Secret.
The world is not a Fairy Godmother, waiting to grant us our three wishes. I believe we are all part of a Master Plan. We exist to fulfill our calling, live our life purpose, love openly, and serve the Master Plan. While I don’t doubt the ability to create anything we desire, I think we “succeed” when we not only create, but we do so with the Master Plan in mind. When we are driven, not by greed or ego but by divine purpose, we can create anything we desire.
How do you do this? Some thoughts…
