We all have unique ways of handling our feelings and sometimes we can let our emotions get the best of us. I’m no exception! I have the tendency to over-analyze, over-spiritualize and overly obsess about my feelings. But we’re not at the mercy of our emotions – we just have to know how to handle them. I recently created 3 Spiritual Steps for Handling My Feelings and in this vlog I share them with you. These steps have greatly served me, and I hope they help save you time and energy when it it comes to working through your feelings. In this video I also announce the paperback launch of Spirit Junkie!

Thanks for the advice and thanks for Spirit Junkie
By M. (not verified) on Friday, 11/02/2012 at 2:35 PMThanks, Gabrielle. Im gonna start practicing this. I do the 'talk to much' thing to my poor boyfriend when I'm having a problem. I liked what you said about not letting ourselves get so hung up on taking action. Im also going to try prayer at the moment of the crisis, rather than waiting til a day later or something. I can see how that would maybe snap your mind out of the dumb loop of anger or anxiety. I stumbled on Spirit Junkie via XO Jane this summer. It led me to start reading a Course in Miracles, which Im about a 6 weeks into. I was an agnostic who believed in ethics and compassion so while a lot of what Im learning doesnt seem alien, the prayer part is a shift, but Im going with it. I wanted to say thanks.
Thanks for this post!
