In my last article, I spoke about a vision for a new form of marketing. One where, as business professionals, we could attract opportunities to us that were in greater alignment with our deepest intentions, both individually and collectively as teams. In this new world, there would no longer be a need for fear-based advertising. Instead, it would be about the presence we cultivated in ourselves as the key ingredient to greater abundance for everyone on the planet.
There was one piece of the vision that I left out -- the actual image that came to my mind of what the process could look like for both entrepreneurs and entire organizations. I’ve decided to write about it here.
We just finished creating our new service today. We can all feel the excitement. Our new customers will be arriving in just a few hours once we collectively put forth our final intention. We call it a wisdom exchange – a new term in the field of Attraction Planning. We’ve recently started to refine our Attraction Planning methods thanks to the spiritual development and contribution of a few members of our team. They’ve helped us to achieve greater alignment in our vibrational energies within ourselves and with our future customers.
We all come into a room and sit quietly in a circle. We begin to center ourselves. First the long inhale, then the exhale and extension of our energy into our feet and into the ground. Next the upward movement of our energy to the top of our head connecting to Spirit. Finally, we bring our feeling attention to our Hara and sense ourselves in a more complete way. We notice the field expanding all around us. We breathe normally and set our collective intentions. The leader of the project reads aloud our intentions and we all repeat it silently for a few minutes with focused energy.
We give gratitude for what we have co-created here together and for allowing this work to come through each of us with ease, grace and inspiration. May we now attract those for whom this has been created and be open and receptive to how they will arrive. May we all create a space for the exchange of our unique wisdom for the benefit of ourselves, for our perfect customers and for all Beings.
We sit quietly for the next 20 minutes and create a collective vibration that extends outward through the planet. We send out just the right level frequency to attract a steady flow of customers that will sustain us and nourish us for years to come. There is no longer a need for excessive promotion, production or over-consumption. Those were the ways of the past when collectively and individually we did not recognize that our unmet needs and our fears were in control of our actions. Gone are the days of ads excessively promoting their products in all of our media for the sole purpose of profit. Now media is reserved for the amplification of wisdom exchanges – collective messages of inspiration, healing and spiritual growth to the right groups of people at the right time. We only offer what we can sustainably give and we receive only what we need. We are in perfect harmony.
Our own wisdom exchange is about to begin. And from there our customers will not only take part in our offerings but help us to co-create our next offering by participating in our next collective inspiration for the betterment of the planet.
The exciting part is that many individuals and organizations already do something similar to this -- they are the pioneers of a new world! I often imagine what life would look like if all organizations engaged in this abundance-based approach collectively. This vision is what drives me forward in my own work.
In this vision I wrote about people bringing into their organizations new methods that would enhance the Attraction Planning process. I always find myself curious about how people engage in this process more consciously in their lives. (And over time I’ll be sharing my own personal experiences of this with the Owning Pink community!) I would love to hear from you too. What do you think could help to accelerate a vision like this in the world? What methods have worked for you to attract that which is in the greatest alignment for your highest good and that of your company?
When you comment on an Owning Pink blog post, we invite you to be authentic and loving, to say what you feel, to hold sacred space so others feel heard, and to refrain from using hurtful or offensive language. Differing opinions are welcomed, but if you cannot express yourself in a respectful, caring manner, your comments will be deleted by the Owning Pink staff.

By Jennifer Shelton on Saturday, 09/04/2010 at 2:51 AMI was very drawn to your earlier post on this subject and was happy to see more! I am so turned off by traditional marketing but feel that I am very much in the minority. I am launching live, online classes (with a group of instructors) in late October and will definitely put your suggestions to work. Any suggestions for further reading on this subject?
Blessings,
Thanks!

Thank you for checking it out and for your nice comments.
Here's a couple books I'd recommend that get into some techniques in more detail:
"Attracting Perfect Customers" -- Stacey Hall & Jan Brogniez
"BEE-ing Attractiong: What Love Has to Do With Business and Marketing" -- Jan Stringer and Alan Hickman
I still recommend that folks get out and do outreach in a way that feels aligned with them but do think when coupled with these techniques it can be very powerful.
Blessings to you

Just Read About This
By Tricia Waltman (not verified) on Friday, 09/03/2010 at 4:40 PMHello, thank you...the whole time I'm reading this I'm thinking what an awesome way to do business! I'm just finishing Napolean Hill's, "Grow Rich With Peace Of Mind" and he talks about the Mastermind Group - sounds kind of like what you do. WHEN my business is able to start hiring, I will be sure to implement these wise practices. Thanks Again.

Wisdom Exchanges
By Monica Wilcox on Thursday, 09/02/2010 at 7:01 PMI love this idea of each business drawing in their customers based on the meeting their "higher" needs. It's been a long time since I worked in an office and have a hard time imagining the leap from what I experienced in staff meetings to what you have posted here BUT I would love to work with a team who looked at their company with this kind of higher consciousness.
When my best friend and I set up our literary website, we purposely sat down together and did much of what you described-with the overall goal of uniting our energy, intentions and vision for the higher good. We did not want one of us to be putting out a vision that totally contradicted the other's and creating a sort of Universal conflict.
This post reminded me of "The Answer" which covers the power of "The Secret" on a business level. It always intrigues me when I come into a start-up company and no one can tell me the over all goal of the company in a single, straight forward, group defined sentence. How much "universal energy" are they letting go in that alone?

By Ryan (not verified) on Friday, 09/03/2010 at 9:14 AMHi Monica,
Thank you for checking out my post. yeah...it's definitely a long time I think until that form of marketing is common place out there. It was almost hard for me to put out there but I saw it as a practice for myself to get out my thoughts and see what folks think.
I agree. There is so much "universal energy" that is let go from not aligning collectively with a vision and common set of intentions. I see some smaller companies and solo practitioners doing this now but am curious what it would be like someday if more organizations did it and larger ones too. It's so hard for me to see them doing it now but I do my best to hold the vision. So curious what 20 years from now has in store.
Thank you again for your comments.
best wishes
Ryan
