Are you enjoying getting your Saturday Posse Party groove on? I know I am. Have you ever met one of those people who have such a bright beam of light hiding within that you just can't help but notice them? Claire is one of those people. I am lucky enough to be surrounded by beautiful people all day long in the Owning Pink Community (woo hoo!), but my heart was captured and held close when I read Claire's heartfelt post below. I hope you are able to bask in her bravery as I have. -- Megan Monique
A 6:00am start as part of my new regime -- oh, how peaceful is that private hour between 6:00 and 7:00am, before the rest of the noisy, boisterous clan awake. Then the chaos of the morning routine: breakfast, squabbles over whose turn it is to have the apricot yogurt or who left the bathroom light on, the mad rush to get everyone out to where they are supposed to be. Then work -- a fairly average day, followed by messing about with the kids, dinner and a trip to the supermarket after the kids are in bed. So far, so ordinary.
But oh so perfect in every, ordinary way. Why? Because I was truly present in every moment, devouring each delicious morsel of my day. I spoke with a colleague who I know is having a difficult time and I listened -- properly listened, and shared something of myself. I danced wildly in the kitchen with my 4 year-old daughter and realized that she already owns her Pink! She knows more about being a girl than I ever have, and I vowed to help her hang on to every gorgeous Pink aspect of herself, no matter what life throws her way.
I smiled at everyone whose eye I caught. And I felt it...
Mojo, mojo where have you been? How I have missed you! And how glad I am that you are back. Little did I realize that you were here all along -- in a smile, a dance, a conversation. I promise I will pay you the attention you deserve because I don't want to forget your presence again.
What happens in your perfect day? How do you get your mojo on and find love, energy, and bliss in the ordinary?
Here's to many more perfect, mojo-filled days.
Love in Pink,
Claire

Dancing with You....
By Caren (not verified) on Saturday, 08/14/2010 at 11:13 AMClaire,
I love this post, such a simple day and yet such a magical one. I really like how you said you were present with every moment. I have been guilty of being the opposite and I really wanted to thank you for reminding me how special all the moments are.
I don't have children, but I love the purity of a child and the simple presence they have. Thank you so much for sharing this post. I will let it serve as a reminder to be here,now....
Dancing with you in spirit,
Caren
