The One Thing You Must Know When You've Got Nothing

Allison Crow's picture

I’ve got nothing for you.

No blog post.

No new class, or offering by the deadline I promised to meet.

I’ve got no wit, or deep thought that I’d be proud to post and share.

I’ve got nothing for you.

No formulaic post to save me on the days when my mind doesn't flow with thoughts.

All my thoughts disappear and there is nothing.

I’ve got no art dying to be released,

I’ve got no inspiration to share - at least none from my heart.

I am barren.  For the moment. For the season.

and, I am enough.

It is winter, my seeds are dormant and there are no blooms,

and, I am enough.

For the first time, I am able to trust, that I am enough.

I’m sharing with you, because for too long we have been told we have to be putting something out there to feel enough.

Darling, no matter where you are.  No matter what you feel like, what you do or do not have for the world, for your family, for your boss, for your friends; if you are in springtime or hibernating in a harsh emotional winter, you must know, from the depths of my heart to yours, YOU ARE ENOUGH.

You are Enough

No, You are not alone Kate!

No darling you are not...and online we often see the "shiny" parts of people. I felt called to share a bit of the shadow moments.... we all have them.
Much Love to you.

I have to convey my gratitude for your generosity for those people

who should have assistance with your idea. Your personal commitment to passing the solution around
ended up being incredibly

practical and have regularly empowered some

individuals like me to get

to their aims. Your entire valuable publication implies a lot to me and still more to my peers.
Many thanks; from all of us.

When I initially commented I clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added-

checkbox and now every time a comment is added I get 4 emails with the same comment.

Is there any means you may remove me

from that service? Thanks!

It's actually very difficult in this busy life to listen news on Television, therefore I just use the web for that reason, and take the most recent information.
