Introducing (drum roll please…) the NEW OWNING PINK.COM! (Crowd cheers wildly, does the wave, and starts rocking the mojo dance.)
Ah…we did it. Welcome. Whew! Feels good.
From the beginning, Owning Pink has been all about collaboration. I never wanted this to be just Lissa’s blog, and before we even had any posts, I had invited the Mojo Mentors to share the home page with me and hold the space for something much bigger. Our new website allows us to further this spirit of collaboration to that Owning Pink becomes a platform for all of our voices to be heard and uplifted.
What will remain the same is the signature voice you’ve come to expect from Owning Pink. Bloggers, coaches and others who help us create Owning Pink will never talk down to you, judge you, or try to “fix” you. Instead, they will love you, hold up the mirror so you can see what you might need to own in order to optimize how you live, and hold space for you to experience what you desire.
This is YOUR Owning Pink. We will be offering all kinds of ways that we can partner with you to increase exposure to your blog, attract attention to your healing professional work, introduce Pinkies to your art, increase exposure to your products and services through our sponsorship programs, support your nonprofit through our nonprofit partnerships, draw Pinkies to your workshops, feature your books and CDs through Amazon.com and other affiliate programs that can help people get- and keep- their mojo.
We want Owning Pink to be the go-to place not just for fabulous inspirational writing, but for all the goods and services you might need to get your mojo on. In the coaching program, workshop offerings, and the Pink marketplace, we have been uber-careful to only offer you articles, services, and products that we completely 100% recommend. But even if we’re not familiar with you and your work, we want to help you get your word out there (unless you’re one of those shameless self-promotion spammers or Viagra salespeople! If that’s you, we love you, we see you with Magical Eyes, and we wish you well, but please don’t hassle us!)
Our new site will feature individual blogs written by over 30 writers, and these will be curated into a daily smattering of guidance, story-telling, tips, inspiration, wisdom and community. We changed our tagline from “A Gutsy Guide to Getting Your Mojo Back” to “Get Your Mojo On” because, while some of our readers have lost their mojo and are seeking ways to get it back, others are loaded with mojo and just want to rock it. Wherever you are, we’re here to support you so and encourage you to take what you need and give what you can so that everyone in this community participates.
The new site also has an online gallery of The Woman Inside Project, more juice about The Pink Effect, coaching services so those of you who are ready to take the next step can be served, a Pink marketplace for Owning Pink swag, excerpts from my upcoming book What’s Up Down There? Questions You’d Only Ask Your Gynecologist If She Was Your Best Friend, an invitation to join Team Pink, and information about the Owning Pink Center, the integrative medicine practice I founded that’s all about getting your mojo back and living vitally.
The Owning Pink community is growing by leaps and bounds, and as we gather together, we raise the energy level of the whole Pink planet. Those of us who are committed not just to getting our mojo back but to loving, serving, surrendering, and lifting up others can unite. Together, we can heal the world (no biggie!). In order to do this, we need to reach more people, invite them to Own Pink, offer support within the community, lead from a place of love, and inspire others to realize that we can redefine health as vitality, reframe success by owning inner peace, live in love, gain by giving, receive abundantly, and get- and keep- our mojo on. The best part is that you can help us do it. There are so many ways to help!
Over the next few months, we’ll be rolling out even more programs, including an e-course, an expanded coaching program, Pink leadership training workshops that can help you get more involved and help us grow pink. Make sure to subscribe to the MojoTips Newsletter so you will be the first to know as our new opportunities and features come online.
I invite you to cruise around this site, investigate what we have to offer, explore how we might serve you, figure out what you might have to offer, and let us know what you think! We welcome your feedback. (In fact, I have butterflies just wondering what you’re all thinking right now, but that’s just the insecure little child in me). Tell us what you think. We’re dying to hear!
Ushering in the new,
Lissa Rankin, MD

I've had my own trepidations about this change, so every Pinkie that validates where we're going helps me take a big sigh of relief. I feel this tremendous responsibility to captain the ship in a way that serves us all (and thank you Dana for taking the wheel so often these days so I can breathe...)
Big hugs to you all

By Stacey (not verified) on Saturday, 06/05/2010 at 8:29 AMHello Dear Lissa (and all the Pinkies)!
I'm on vacation with my family this week, but I had to pop in to say I am SO excited about OP's new manifestation!
You've not only taken it up a notch - you've taken it to another stratosphere!
The intention, effort, and LOVE that it took to make this change is awesome and inspires me to think "How can *I* rock the mojo in my life even more?" (I've always loved, Lissa, that you make the point that mojo means MOre JOy!)
I know I will meditate on this question more, but what I know at this moment is that it means jumping into a pristine (but frigid) lake. Yippee! Much love to you all, s

Woo Hoo!
By Dana Theus on Saturday, 06/05/2010 at 7:03 AMAwesome to be awake and alive and looking at our gorgeous new site. THANK YOU everyone who put so much energy into helping us take this step: Lissa, Joy, Meg and our Coder Dude Drupal Hero - AUGIE! Thanks to all the wonderful writers and coaches and salon facilitators and workshop leaders who are joining us on this journey, and all who will follow. And especially thanks to all the Pinkies who have loved us in our old form, contributed their true selves to the conversation growing up amongst us all and following us our new journey. Gratitude for all the new people - Pinkies and Purplies and Blueis and Greenies and Redies and Orangies and Tealies and Azuries and ... well, you get the point. May everyone who comes here take away something they need and leave behind some of what we all can grow from.
Love, Light and Blessings to us all
~Dana
