November-beaver-moon-72

Hiya Pinkies. Please welcome back Pink Mystic and Metaphysician Tara Sutphen, here with some words on the opportunities tomorrow night’s Full Beaver Moon holds for us to claim our highest intentions.

The Beaver Moon at 10º Taurus will culminate November 2, 2009. It’s time to exert some energy. You are being nudged to stir and shift your ideas and talents into movement. Activate yourself toward acquiring security and resources. Solutions are all around you. Make solid choices and move forward one step at a time. Most problems and burdens are fixable – the challenge lies in making up your mind and freeing yourself from your own inner critic. Let your mantra this month be, “I deserve relief, I deserve a reprieve, I deserve recovery.”

Your spirit is vast and knowledgeable, and you instinctually know what is good for you and what is not. You have the capability to feel the direction in which you need to go. You may be using your head to justify doing something that doesn’t suit you. Don’t say yes when you mean no. If you are being railroaded by circumstances, recognize it as such, and then will yourself in the direction of the life you want to live.

The essence and shine of the moon illuminates you for the whole world to see. It’s time to own the real you – including who you are, and what you want.

Journal Questions:

  • Procrastination: What areas of your life aren’t you handling. Money aspects? Love opportunities? Family time and energy? Career path? Time for rest or play? Body image issues? Health priorities? Job assessment? Home or work projects? Better life? How can you change?
  • What are you running from? What and whom you have pushed away from yourself?
  • Why might you think you don’t deserve the best of love? Or the best career? Or the best job? What has made you unsatisfied or suppressed your self-esteem?
  • Where are you only being hard on yourself, when in truth everything is okay just as it is?
  • What solutions come to mind when you ask yourself these questions? Do you have more questions that need to be answered?
  • What is less than perfect that you wish to fix? What is one thing you can do to step in the direction of a more meaningful life? Have a starting place and work from there. But remember: it’s time to actually begin – not just writing, but living the story you have written for yourself.

Dancing under the moon,

Tara

The Second Cancer New Moon: An Astrological Mojo-Boost

Wednesday, July 22nd, 2009

lunareclipseHiya Pinkies! Please welcome back our Pink Mystic/ Metaphysician and Mojo Mentor Tara Sutphen, as she guides us through the 29* Cancer New Moon that culminated July 21, 2009 at 11:36 pst (Ephemeris).  May her wisdom and vision help you navigate the world with joy, insight, and beauty.

This is the second Cancer New Moon this year. The first one was all about beginnings, and this second Cancer new moon is about endings that enable us to start fresh and anew. Time to shake your life up a little and start putting some of your ideas into action. Practice diligence, be cognizant and knowing, and thrust yourself forward in trust. Stop holding back- learn to trust yourself. What are your motives, and why do you seek challenge after challenge? Is it to succeed or to fail? Be observant, awake and move solidly into wise choices. Create your own reality- begin taking steps with skill, recognition, and achievement.

Owning It ALL

Quit being bored or hazy about life- begin helping yourself on emotional, spiritual, and physical levels. At work, be more active your role. Adjust your thinking and feelings so that you believe you deserve great love in your life.  Take proactive steps toward owning your body and your wellness. To be the best mom, dad, sibling, or friend you can be, be clear with yourself about what you need from the relationship, and what it requires from you. You don’t need to be all things to all people, and you certainly don’t need to settle for a mediocre life. Try not to hold back from expressing, emotionally or physically, what you really need and want.

Your attitude should be realistic- center yourself with responsible antidotes to the fantasy and magic along your life’s path. Your dream life is not about fulfilling a fantasy, it about having faith in yourself to achieve the things you want. Last month was about being open to love. This month is about taking risks and creating a real-life game plan. With the solar eclipse, it’s time to dream big dreams, have realistic ideas, and work toward a meaningful life. This time of change sparks the new.  Cast away your problems and worries- let go of what no longer serves you. This is your journey. Believe in you- in your life and its blessings. The Universe is speaking and clearing the way….

Journal Questions:

Where are the dramas and crises in your life? What are some realistic solutions? What is important? Who is important? Why are they important? List everything on a scale of 1-10, with 1 being most intense and 10 being least. What and whom can and can’t you live without?  Why? Whom do you trust and why? Do you trust yourself and why? Where are you lacking trust and what do you need to increase it? Where have you received mixed messages about trust? Parents? Friends? Teachers? Nation? Media? World? How willful are you? How determined are you? Where do you take responsibility for your ideas, words and deeds? What ideas do you have to create a better life for yourself? What is the game plan? How can you better your job or career? How can you create more of a satisfying life for yourself? How can you make more money? How might you experience more camaraderie or love? How can you be more active with your health and wellbeing? How can you move forward in life without much effort? What effort would you make? Do you expect little changes or a whole overhaul? Where do you start? Why do you need to change?

Create balance and watch your world come alive again with wonder, possibilities and renewal.

Wishing you health & happiness for this full moon,

Tara
