I’m not sure if any of you have noticed, but the featured posts we put on OwningPink.com’s home page lately have been pretty much ALL LISSA, ALL THE TIME, when we have 30-something killer bloggers who write for Owning Pink.
Because that’s what you all are asking for -- both directly and through Google Analytics. My least read blog posts still get double the traffic of any other blogger on Owning Pink, even bloggers whose blogs have way more traffic than Owning Pink. In fact this post got 2.5 million hits in one freakin' day! I so want to showcase the writing and work of people who are doing awesome work in the world to empower women. But the reality is that the Owning Pink community wants me to write more. Period.
And this TOTALLY bums me out.

A few weeks ago I had the privilege of taking a three hour walk along the San Francisco waterfront with the legendary artist/author/visionary SARK (Susan Ariel Rainbow Kennedy) and talking about her fabulous Dream Boogie workshop (more on that below). As two PAWs (her word for “Powerful Ass Women”) sharing stories, we were relating our challenges with fame.
I was telling her I had a hard time establishing boundaries between myself and my fans, and I had a tendency to over-nurture at the expense of my own health, peace, relationships, and sanity. After giving a lecture on the public speaking circuit, I’d be exhausted and depleted, and yet, when someone who followed me on Owning Pink or had read my book approached me after my talk, I’d drop everything to hug her, answer her litany of questions, and coach her towards a happier life. And then I’d break down because, as outgoing as I am, at my core, I’m an introvert. Being around other people drains me. I replenish my energy by being alone.
Susan said, “You’re like me -- the cosmic tit.”

This is the first in a series of posts I wrote while retreating to Harbin Hot Springs.
Body Awareness
Yesterday, Lissa and I had the blessing of participating in a virtual group healing/prayer circle with Mojo Mentor and Pink Goddess of Intuition Caroline Diana Bobart.
Who knew a healing circle was possible over Skype? From Berkeley and Marin County to Wales, we connected our voices over the Internet (will miracles of technology never cease?). I can tell you that the moment Caroline invited us into a sacred space, I wasn’t sitting in front of my laptop anymore, but in a warm, comfy room with my two goddess friends.
Hiya Pinkies. Almost three weeks have elapsed since I experienced my Pink intuitive reading from Mojo Mentor Caroline Bobart. Usually, when things happen, I write about them instantly. It’s almost as if writing something makes it real for me. But this time, I needed time to process what I experienced.
Dearest Pinkies,
Hold onto your Pink beanies for a very special post by Caroline Bobart. A recent (and blessed!) addition to the Posse, Caroline is the Director for Advanced Intuitive Administration. Today, she gives us a gift like no other: an intuitive description of what Owning Pink looks like on planes of existence that most of us can't see. She posted what she wrote on the Pink Posse blog, but we loved it so much, we wanted to bring it to the rest of you.
I sobbed when I read this because Caroline is speaking precisely to my vision for Owning Pink, and what I've seen happening but have been unable to describe. Let us realize together this collective vision and manifest the Pink Group Agreement we've already made.
