Be Free Of The Ego

Be Free Of The Ego

So, what is the 'ego'? How does it operate in our lives? How can we transcend the ego? These are all very important questions that deserve in-depth consideration because, as most on the spiritual path know, the whole game is the game of the ego.

Green Sexuality: Is The Ecology Of Love A Fad Or The Future Of Sex?

sustainable

"Mother Earth doesn’t need us to survive, but we sure do need her. Better make sure she comes first." That tagline sums up my understanding of eco-sexuality in an organic nutshell, though my experience thus far is that even many die-hard greenies toss their dirt laden hands in the air when you mention making love sustainable. If tree-huggers are bemused, what about the rest of us mainstream recyclers? I had no sense of the time but suddenly realized I was not struggling anymore. I was now at the head of the bed watching myself dying.

A Return To Love- A Lesson in Surrender

"Give Love," artwork by Rita Loyd (c) 2002

I’m reading Marianne Williamson’s A Return To Love for the first time (and with each word I read, am questioning how my spirit would have allowed me to go so long without this book). I’m sure a gazillion posts are going to be born from my reading of it. However, I’ve just encountered the first moment of truth so intense that it compelled me to put the book down, march inside on this gorgeous day, and write down my thoughts.
