This past weekend, my magical eyes got taken for a wild ride. I encountered one of the most challenging magical eye experiences I have ever taken on. At the time it wasn’t clear to me that my magical eyes were the only thing that would save me in this situation. But I was determined to find the underlying value in the conflict that arose.

This game of life is tricky sometimes. At the moments when we feel like we are furthest from reaching our goals, we are actually just around the corner from having our wildest dreams swirling in the palm of our hands.

I want to be a life coach.

This is something I have wanted to do my whole life. Only when I was younger I didn’t know such a thing existed. I thought the only way to take on this kind of role in human development was to be a psychologist and frankly I didn’t want to spend the time or money on going to school that long.

I love watching the conversation around the Pink Effect and using Magical Eyes in our lives grow on a weekly basis. It makes my personal mission of spreading love much easier, by having Pinkies like you to contribute. This week, I would like to introduce you to Lori-Lyn Hurley. I moved to Austin, Texas in 2006 from my home, away from my family, away from friends and everything I knew to be familiar in 2006 with $150 in my bank account and a dream of finding something bigger than what I had in Dallas. The first place I got a job was at a holistic verterinarian clinic, Crystal Mountain Animal Hospital. Little did I know, this place would become much more then a job to me. The experiences I had and lessons I learned have stuck with me through the years.
