
My daughter is a stickler for routine. If a change occurs without her knowledge, you will find her in quite a tizzy. Yesterday the weather report called for storms and possible tornadoes. I'd told her the night before that I might not be able to walk to school to pick her up. Panic flashed across her face. I assured her I'd do my best not to change the routine and sent her to bed.

Typically I lecture extemporaneously for over an hour. Therefore, this new format was making me anxious. So I did what I always do when my anxiety creeps in.
