Introducing Pink Medicine

pink medicine

When I decided to put my white coat back on, I committed to reclaiming what I love about medicine and ditching what I’ve come to despise. In fact, after leaving medicine - supposedly for good - I had to expand and redefine “health” and change the whole way I think about practicing medicine in order to feel proud of my MD title and rekindle my on-again-off-again relationship with health care. Now that I am working with patients again - in my own way - I remember how much I truly love medicine and how I felt the call to serve at the young age of seven.

Authenticity, Awareness, and Love: Color Me Pink!

I have a confession. When I first came across Owning Pink last spring, I was turned off. Not by the content, but by the color. I’m a tom boy. Not a girly girl. I was the little girl that refused to wear pink. My mother was resigned to paint my room yellow because I wasn't doing pink. My theme song is Dar William's "When I Was a Boy." A Intuitive's Read of How Pink We Really Are

pink supernovaDearest Pinkies,

Hold onto your Pink beanies for a very special post by Caroline Bobart. A recent (and blessed!) addition to the Posse, Caroline is the Director for Advanced Intuitive Administration. Today, she gives us a gift like no other: an intuitive description of what Owning Pink looks like on planes of existence that most of us can't see. She posted what she wrote on the Pink Posse blog, but we loved it so much, we wanted to bring it to the rest of you.

I sobbed when I read this because Caroline is speaking precisely to my vision for Owning Pink, and what I've seen happening but have been unable to describe. Let us realize together this collective vision and manifest the Pink Group Agreement we've already made.
