"I own Pink by practicing radical self care and inspiring others to honor their bodies and souls so they can empower themselves to heal."
Laurie was walking her transitional journey from corporate day job to ceramic artist when she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Motivated to not give up her dream of making pots on her 80th birthday, she tapped into her lifelong study of health, nutrition, and spirituality. She assembled her support team of health professionals, guides and friends and created a radical self-care program that helped her reclaim her mojo. Laurie admits that it is a roller coaster of a journey but takes delight in being alive and vital, even on days when she does not “feel” healthy.
Within days of her diagnosis, Laurie began to hear the voice and feel the pull. She knew she had to use this "fire" of a diagnosis to rise from the ashes of her former life and finally step into her divine purpose. It started with writing her story and eventually led her to return to school to gain the skills and further knowledge to help others do what she had done for herself - heal.
Chief Wellness Hero at Chronic Wellness Coaching, Laurie is also the potter at Claytastic Pottery, and an aspiring writer. She lives in Virginia with her husband, and her dog Skippy. You can follow Laurie on twitter @laurieerdman
