Susan Fox founded Balance Restored – Center for Integrative Medicine with the vision that combining conventional and complementary medicine best serves an individual's health care needs. She works in collaboration on patient care with M.D.'s and health care providers of many specialties, including Obstetrics & Gynecology, Endocrinology and Reproductive Endocrinology, Neurology and Chronic Pain Management, Psychiatry & Psychology, Chiropractic, Physical Therapy, Massage Therapy, Nutritional Medicine.

With a focus on reproductive health, Susan is an affiliate of The Fertile Soul™, which programs promote health of body, mind, and spirit using Taoist, traditional Chinese, and modern therapies. Susan has completed The Fertile Soul Clinical Excellence in Fertility Program™ (CEFP), an international professional community of highly skilled traditional Chinese medicine practitioners who follow The Fertile Soul program in our approach to patient care.
Susan is a Fellow of and serves on the Board of Directors for the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine.

Susan enjoys professional membership in several organizations, including the American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, American Society of Reproductive Medicine, Pacific Coast Reproductive Society, RESOLVE, INCIID (International Council on Infertility Information Disseminations), Fertile Hope, OpenPath. She has served on the Board of Directors of RESOLVE Northern California Chapter, and currently serves on the Advisory Board of the California Institute of Integral Studies Integrative Health Studies Program.

Susan earned her Master's degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine at Meiji College of Oriental Medicine in Berkeley, California, and is licensed in California and nationally as an acupuncturist and herbalist.  Post-graduate training includes functional medicine, reproductive medicine and Alchemical Healing, a 5-Element and Depth Psychology perspective on whole health.
